Library

The college has well furnished and enriched library of 73.10 square meter with well furnished reading room for students with total sitting capacity of 25 students. It has good collections of reference books, textbooks, encyclopedias.

dictionaries and other knowledge resources and e-library through INFLIBNET,N-List program.

Some of the reader friendly prominent features of the library are

• Collection of books: –25446 books including Reference books, Encyclopedias, Reference books, rare books etc. on various subjects and areas.
• Journals & Magazines: –Library subscribes around 23 printed Journals & Magazines devoted to various subjects and general interest.
• N-LIST:- Library subscribed N-LIST facility of UGC-INFLIBNET, Ahmadabad. This has at about 97000 E-Books & 6000 E-Journals.
• Computerized services: – The Library has Library Manager software from 2014 and Partially  Computerized.
• Internet Facility: –The library is equipped with broadband internet facility from October 2015. providing 2 internet connected computers Only for Library.
• Open Access systems: –Open access system is used for students, Researchers, teachers & staff.
• Reader Awareness activities:-The Library undertakes a number of activities for reader awareness and motivation. Some of these are-
  • Display of new arrival
  • Book Exhibition
  • Celebration of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan Birth anniversary
  • Specific guidance by librarian
  • Organize general knowledge examination for the student
• Book Bank facility: – Some of the students cannot afford to purchase study material /Books. A Book Bank is established for the benefit of such students. Student from. Economically weaker section is given text book etc. on free of cost for the academic year. Such students can also avail regular library facilities.

1. Please maintain silence in the library.
2. While entering the library you must write your name in Entry Register.
3. Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited. If any user is found talking on the phone strict action will be taken against that person.
4. Smoking, eating, chewing gum and tobacco is strictly prohibited.
5. Students are supposed to keep their bags, personal reading material and other belongings outside the library. The Library Staff Is Not Responsible For The Loss or Damage of The Students Belongings.
6. Students are requested to keep the books/magazines or any other material used in their respective places after use.
7. No library material will be taken out of the library without the permission of the Librarian.
8. Books/Periodicals or any other library material will be issued only production of a valid I-card.
9. A book issued can be renewed on or before the due date, “Once” for a period of 07 more days only.
10. A Late fine of Rs.1 will charged per book per day.
11. Students should inspect the condition of the book before borrowing it and inform the Librarian about the missing or torn pages if any. The concerned student will be held responsible for the same. Later at the        time of returning the book.
12. If a member lives or migrates the institution he/she shall have to return all the library material and get membership to obtain no dues slip from the librarian.
13. If a book is lost, the concerned person has to pay double price of the books, plus fine as per library rules.
14. A Duplicate I-card can only be issued after paying a fine of Rs.10.

11. Organize N List User Awareness Programme.
